The Iraqi midfielder didn’t disappoint after he helped Manchester United score two more goals in the second half to leave the score line at 4-1 after full-time.

Iqbal may not have scored or assisted in his two friendlies against Liverpool and Melbourne Victory but his performance this morning caught the eyes of many.

The U23s midfielder pulled off a brilliant piece of skill to get away from two Melbourne Victory stars, who tried dispossessing the younger.

And the footage of that actual noteworthy moment has since gone viral across social media and fans are pleased with his footwork.

Speaking about his chances of getting into the first team under Erik ten Hag, Zidane Iqbal said: “Of course, if I get my chance [next season], I’m going to try and take it.

“But even if I don’t, it doesn’t mean that I’ll stop working hard in the [under] 23s.”
