Three Manchester United stars absent in today's training ahead of Sheriff Tiraspol trip

Three Manchester United players were not present in today’s training and are doubts for their Europa League clash against Sheriff Tiraspol, according to reports.

Man United are bracing themselves to get their European campaign in the right direction against Sheriff, having lost their opening game 1-0 to Real Socieded.

Their attempts on doing so may have been thwarted after The Athletic report today that Marcus Rashford, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed today’s training session.

While this hasn’t ruled them out of Manchester United’s trip to Moldova to face Sheriff Tiraspol, their chances of making Erik ten Hag’s travelling squad is massively slim.

Rashford appeared injured upon coming off late in the second half against Arsenal last two weekends and his absence against Sheriff would be a big blow to Erik ten Hag, given the forward’s current top form.

Marcus Rashford has scored three goals in his last four games and wasn’t in the squad that lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad last week.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Van de Beek haven’t started games this season and their absences wouldn’t be felt as much as Rashford’s, although it’s always healthy to have a full squad.

According to MEN, the likes of Charlie McNeill and Marc Jurado were part of the training session.
