"This is what we need now" - Fan loves Dalot and Martinez moment vs Leicester

A Manchester United fan is pleased with the passion both Diogo Dalot and Lisandro Martinez showed after the former made an important block to thwart Leicester City’s chances of salvaging the game.

Man United were rather drab in the second half and as a result, they gave Leicester enough room to fight their way back into the game.

The home side pressed as hard as they could to get back into the game but the Red Devils were relatively equal to their threats, hence Jadon Sancho’s early strike made the difference.

Late in the game, Harvey Barnes attacked down Dalot’s position and was close to produce what could have caused an upset at United’s backline but his cross was not only block by Dalot but also won a goal kick in the process.

Upon the centre referee pointing at goal kick, Dalot was seen passionately celebrating his block against Barnes with Martinez and his team-mates Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay.

Martinez is fond of playing with great determination and passion and he couldn’t resist himself from celebrating what many described as a top block with Dalot.

And a fan tweeted on Twitter, complementing the passion shown by both defenders.

The right-back has started in all of Manchester United’s five Premier League matches and provided the assist to Bruno Fernandes’ lone goal against Southampton last weekend.

He is expected to maintain his starting spot against Arsenal this weekend.
