Scott McTominay: "Francis Uzoho was a different class"

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has lauded Omonia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho after his heroic at Old Trafford in the Europa League

Man United did everything right except to get the ball behind Uzoho, who proved nearly impossible to beat, having made around 12 shots.

Scott McTominay came off the bench and scored the match-winning goal in injury time to end what could have been a perfect night for the Nigerian international.

Although the Red Devils won the game by a lone goal, McTominay thought the Red Devils created a lot of chances to score but Uzoho was on a different level tonight.

“You have to be patient. Marcus had so many opportunities,” McTominay said after the game. “Their goalkeeper was a different class to be fair. I felt we created enough chances to score.”

“Watching the goalkeeper sometimes you think it won’t be our day. Credit to the team we have a real team spirit where we keep going.”

Francis Uzoho said after the match: “I am a big Manchester United fan yeah. i have dreamed to play here for a long time. When I saw the draw I wanted to play. I prayed to God to get a opportunity to play and I got it, I’m happy I played here.

“It’s not a easy stadium to play in with these big players. I’m happy in general.”
