Manchester United sealed a 3-1 win at Arsenal to knock the Gunners out of the FA Cup in the fourth round.

The Red Devils showcased the counter-attacking football that had fans proudly proclaiming that they had their club back.

However, two of Manchester United three goals came from the break and it wasn’t a surprise to see Romelu Lukaku registered two assists in that encounter.

Romelu Lukaku’s first assist helped Alexis Sanchez scored his first goal against his former club since his move from Arsenal in January.

The Belgian’s second was a lung-bursting run and fine pass to Jesse Lingard to double United’s lead.

United then ended Arsenal’s hope of coming back into the game as Paul Pogba raced through the centre with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on either side. Pogba’s shot was punched away by Petr Cech but Martial was fast enough to hit the rebound into the back of the net.

Those three players, plus Lukaku, are clearly the fastest in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad, and it’s clear to see who Lukaku believes would win in a race.

Answering questions from fans for United’s Instagram account, Lukaku was asked: “Who is the fastest in the group?”

Without hesitation, Lukaku raised his hand and smiled, before saying: “And people call me slow!”

And the 25-year-old forward has reason to be proud, as last season he detailed a top speed of 34.84 km/h, faster than any other player at Old Trafford.

Lukaku took three of the top five speeds recorded by a United player in 2017/18, with Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford also making their marks with their pace.
