Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has scored his second goal for Portugal against Uruguay in the World Cup.
Fernandes opened the scoring when his cross beat the Uruguay goalie after Cristiano Ronaldo’s failed attempt to head the ball mesmerised the goalkeeper’s view of the ball.
In the additional time, Portugal were handed a penalty after a player handled the ball inside in the penalty box.
With Cristiano Ronaldo already being substituted, Fernandes took the duty and did it superbly.
Portugal 2-0 Uruguay.
The Portuguese side will advance to the round of 16 if they beat Uruguay tonight.
