Ole Gunnar Solskjaer COMPLETELY disagrees with Gary Neville over David De Gea mistake claim vs Arsenal

Manchester United caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has banished the idea claiming David De Gea could be losing his focus as his attempt to extend his contract hasn’t been finalised.

The former Atletico Madrid shot-stopper will be a free agent at the end of the summer and reports claim United are settling on offering the 28-year-old goalie a £350,000-a-week deal.

United are not in a haste to give in to De Gea’s demands and Gary Neville suggested on Sunday the stopper was distracted by the uncertainty surrounding his future.

It is obvious that David De Gea was at fault for Arsenal’s opener on Sunday evening as he telegraphed Granit Xhaka’s shot wrongly.

‘Not at all,’ replied when asked if De Gea was unnerved by the contract talk.

‘David’s raelly focused and concentrated. He’s too professional to let his mind wander.

‘The best players they know how to focus and he’s been absolutely fantastic.’

De Gea is reportedly leaning towards staying at the Theatre of Dreams after Solskjaer engineered a superb return to form since taking over in November.

The defeat was Solskjaer’s first away loss as United manager and also his first loss in the Premier League.

United stay in the 5th position at the moment and will return to action this weekend as they travel to Wolves for the FA Cup quarter final.
