Marcus Rashford: Talks between PSG and Man United star's camp 'are advancing positively'

PSG are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and talks are said to be ‘advancing positively’, according to reports in France.

Man United are short of options in the attack but that hasn’t put of The Parisians from showing interest in Rashford, who had an underwhelming season last term.

The French giants are reportedly ready to let Neymar leave this summer in a bid to get the Brazilian’s mammoth salaries off their book. And will look to sign his replacement this summer, who they expect to accept at least half the salary they pay the former Barcelona forward.

According to L’Equipe, PSG are interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United this summer and the talks between the French club and Rashford’s entourage are said to be progressing well.

The 24-year-old has endured widespread critcism from fans, thanks to his poor performances last season despite playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Although he was brilliant in pre-season, Rashford endured yet another poor display last weekend in a competitive game after missing a sitter in the second half against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

Regardless of how genuine the reports from France are, Manchester United are obviously not going to let the England international go, as they are basically trying to improve their options by signing two forwards before the transfer window shuts down.

Cody Gakpo has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and United are said to be keen on signing a striker, who could eventually replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo wants to leave the club for a Champions League team but so far, he hasn’t agreed a deal with any team.
