Manchester United vs Barcelona: Jose Mourinho reveals which club will qualify

Manchester United former manager Jose Mourinho is expecting Barcelona to knock his old club out of the Champions League quarter-final.

The Red Devils will take on Barca at Old Traffic on April 10 in the first leg before travelling to the Nou Camp Stadium for the return leg in three weeks time.

Jose Mourinho, who qualified Man United from the group stage, was sacked in mid-December after a poor run of form and was not present to face PSG in the round of 16.

He has effectively tipped Barcelona to kick the Reds out by saying he envisages Barca meeting Juventus in the tournament’s final on June 1.

“Juventus and Barcelona are the two great candidates for the final victory and will reach the bottom,” Mourinho said.

“All they talk about Ronaldo and Messi, but I prefer to talk about Juve and Barcelona, I will always be a football coach and football continues to be a team sport.

“Juventus and Barcelona have experience, talent and a special player each. There are these special players, the teams end up becoming the best.”

Before the clash, Manchester United will have to see off Watford at home and a visit to Wolves in the Premier League.
