Manchester United vs Arsenal: Patrice Evra makes Premier League clash prediction

Patrice Evra predicts his former side Manchester United will settle for a score draw against Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.

Man United will host league leaders, the Gunners, at Old Trafford on Sunday and will plan to ensure their three-match winning streak doesn’t come to an end against Arsenal.

The Red Devils have won their last three games against Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester City and the last time they hosted a game this season, they beat Jurgen Klopp’s side 2-1.

The rivalry clash will come as a huge test for both sides, as Arsenal haven’t met any of the orthodox top-six sides so far this season and United haven’t won convincingly, although they occupy the 5th position.

Patrice Evra concedes it would be hard for someone to say who the winner of this clash would be, as a result, he thinks the clash would end in a draw.

Arsenal are in great form, they are winning ugly games and that’s what is scaring me,” Evra said. “To say who is going to be the winner in this one is tough.

“I want Ten Hag’s side to keep going with that consistency and win in this one will be such a massive boost, but I can’t see Arsenal giving it up that easily. It’s going to be an interesting game and to be honest I can see this one being a draw.”

Prediction: 1-1.

Patrice Evra predicted that Manchester United would beat Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Thursday night, and after Jadon Sancho’s first-half goal separated both sides, Evra’s prediction was correct.

Well, many Manchester United fans are eager to see Evra fail his recent prediction as they would United to get all three points, given that they are playing at Old Trafford.
