Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, according to reports in Spain.

Man United are obviously in the market in a bid to sign least two defensive midfielders, having signed an attacking midfielder in Christian Eriksen as a free agent last month.

Scott McTominay and Fred have endured widespread criticism for their poor performances against Brighton and Hove Albion and Brentford and have been at the centre of criticism in recent seasons.

Erik ten Hag is planning on signing at least two midfielders in a bid to put a stop to the ‘McFred pairing’ in the midfield and several midfielders have been linked with moves to Old Trafford.

Adrien Rabiot is reportedly close to joining Manchester United from Juventus for a transfer fee that could rise to €20million.

According to Jose Felix Diaz, via Marca, Man United are thinking of Real Madrid‘s Casemiro as a possible reinforcement.

The same report claims that emissaries of Manchester United are in Madrid with different routes open, although Real Madrid haven’t received any offer for the Brazilian yet.

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong is also a top target for Man United, although the midfielder has resisted United’s attempt to lure him away from Nou Camp due to some personal reason.
