Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has revealed his travelling squad for tomorrow’s Europa League clash against Sheriff Tiraspol and some senior players are set to miss the clash.
Man United got off to a losing start in their European campaign when they got humbled 1-0 by Real Sociedad at Old Trafford last week, although ten Hag made a handful of changes to the lineup that recorded a string of four Premier League wins.
Manchester United are determined to get their Europa League campaign up and running but they are forced to hunt that without the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Marcus Rashford and Donny van de Beek due to injury issues.
Rashford’s last appearance came against Arsenal and he appeared to have come off with an injury late in the game, upon scoring two goals in the second half.
Van de Beek hasn’t started a game this season for Manchester United and the same can be boldly said of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has seemingly lost his starting role to Diogo Dalot.
The trio missed today’s training and tomorrow’s game against the Moldovans champions means Rashford has missed two United games in a row.
According to Manchester United’s official website, below is United’s travelling squad to Moldova to face Sheriff Tiraspol.
De Gea, Heaton, Vitek, Lindelöf, Maguire, Martínez, Malacia, Varane, Dalot, Shaw, Bruno Fernandes, Eriksen, Fred, Casemiro, McTominay, Iqbal, Cristiano Ronaldo, Antony, Sancho, Elanga, Garnacho, McNeill
Anthony Martial remains out injured and has only made one appearance against Liverpool this season under Erik ten Hag.
