Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford reportedly wants to move to PSG this summer, according to reports in France.
Reports emerged this week that PSG have started talks with Rashford’s entourage over a summer move to Parc des Princes, and the talks are said to be ‘advancing positively’.
According to L’Equipe, PSG showed their interest in the England international last month and are keen on stepping up their chase on the forward.
Reports from English press claim that Manchester United are relaxed by the situation as they expect the 24-year-old, who has a year left on his current deal with the Manchester club.
But the journalist also clarified that The Parisians have not held talks with Manchester United, who have an option to extend Rashford’s contract that runs out in 2023 to 2024.
Manchester United are expected to turn down the French Ligue 1’s offers, if they come bidding, as they are looking to improve their attacking line this summer rather than offloading a player or two.
United are reportedly looking to sign two forwards this summer in a bid to add more quality options in the attack at Erik ten Hag’s disposal and could potentially replace Cristiano Ronaldo, if the five-time Ballon d’Or winner moved on this summer for a Champions League club.
