Man United are in need of a striker this summer and the decision isn’t down to Cristiano Ronaldo’s uncertain future at Old Trafford as it is claimed that United are keen on the signing a forward whether or not Ronaldo stay put.

Several forwards have been linked with a move to Manchester United so far including Alvaro Morata, Cody Gakpo and Matheus Cunha.

According to Gerard Romero, The Red Devils have turned their attention to Barcelona’s forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is also a transfer target for Chelsea.

Barca signed Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha from Bayern Munich and Leeds United this summer respectively and their arrivals are expected to thwart Aubameyang’s playing time at Nou Camp and as a result, he’s reportedly interested in leaving the club, one year after he dumped Arsenal for the La Liga giants.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Barcelona value the former Arsenal skipper at €30m and Xavi is keen on having him in the squad.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro is also a transfer target for Manchester United and several reports have suggested that the Brazilian is keen on the transfer.
