Manchester United take on Southampton at Old Trafford later today as the hunt for a top four finish emerges again.
The Red Devils have been an unplayable side since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer arrived, winning nine out of 11 Premier League games.
During Solskjaer’s press conference on Friday, the Norwegian revealed that Anthony Martial’s absence will force him to feature the same players he used against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
United secured a comfortable 3-1 win at the Selhurst Park Stadium three days ago and will likely field the same players against the Saints this afternoon.
Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic are the top dour players who are sidelined with injuries.
Fred could start again at the expense of Herrera’s absence and that would see him partner Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay, who has been superb in the last two games, in midfield.
Ashley Young could be rested for the PSG clash next week and that will see Diogo Dalot start from the right-back.
Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling appear to be Solskjaer’s first choice central defenders as the pair have been decent at the heart of the defence and they are expected to start against Southampton.
Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku to lead United’s attack.
David De Gea will be in goal as usual as he eyes to keep a clean sheet this weekend.
Goalkeeper: De Gea
Defenders: Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw
