Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has described Manchester United as an ‘incredible threat’ after he succumbed to a defeat at Old Trafford.
Man United recorded their 10th home win in all competitions when they beat Man City 2-1 at the Theatre of Dreams on matchday 20 of 38 in the Premier League.
City opened the scoring in the second half after substitute Jack Grealish headed home Kevin de Bruyne’s sublime cross.
However, United turned the event around following two quick late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United are currently one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League after 18 matches and Guardiola was impressed by United’s display.
After the game, the Man City boss told BT Sport: “The game was really good. They [Manchester United] are an incredible threat.”
On Bruno Fernandes’ controversial goal, he added: “[Marcus] Rashford was offside, he distracted our keeper and defenders.”
