La Liga forward is on Erik ten Hag's transfer radar - Man Utd fans don't want the player

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reportedly added Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann on his transfer radar but several United fans are against the prospect of it happening.

Erik ten Hag is expected to continue his Man United rebuild when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Dutchman was keen on signing both Cody Gakpo and Antony from PSV and Ajax respectively but could only get the latter across the line.

United are expected to be busy in the winter market next year but obviously wouldn’t be as busy as in the summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United have Antoine Griezmann on their watch list and will look to lure the forward to Old Trafford in January or next summer.

But several Manchester United fans are not looking forward to having the Frenchman in their squad, given the striker’s refusal to move to Old Trafford some seasons ago.

Instead, some would prefer United to renew their interest in signing Griezmann’s team-mate Joao Felix from Atletico.

The Red Devils showed interest in his team-mate Joao Felix but Atletico Madrid reportedly rejected Man United’s reported £130million offer.

One fan tweeted: “Joao Felix is literally next door ffs.”

Dont want griezmann. Thats so 2018,” said another fan.

The third fan tweeted: “NO THANKS.”

Griezmann, who is on loan from Barcelona, has struggled to start games this season but started against Real Madrid on Sunday night in La Liga.
