Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has suggested that it’s a bad time to face Manchester United, given their dreadful start to the Premier League season.
Man United are desperate to end their horrendous start to the new season against Liverpool but that wouldn’t be an easy call for Erik Ten Hag as Klopp’s side is also struggling to get results.
The Reds drew two winnable games against Fulham and Crystal Palace and as a result, they are anxious to start winning games in a bid to catch up with the league leaders Arsenal and Manchester City with six points.
Although Klopp is keen on registering his first league win this season, he concedes that it wouldn’t be as easy to get all three points off the Red Devils as last season, because they are facing wounded lions.
“The whole world will watch it, let’s see how these heavyweights deal with the situation.”
Erik ten Hag has stated that his side is ready for the rivalry game against Liverpool next week Monday, and also revealed that he has no plans on changing his tactics against Klopp’s side.
United lost 2-1 and 4-0 to Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford and the Dutchman admitted that his side made a load of mistakes against the Bees.
“A lot went wrong [against Brentford], but you don’t have to talk about anything when the attitude is not right.
“We work from game to game. We know what is going on when you play against Liverpool, especially when you are Manchester United, so yeah, you have to be ready.”
