Former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly urged AS Roma to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United, according to reports.
Wan-Bissaka moved to Man United three seasons ago but wasted no time to build a reputation for himself in his first two seasons.
The 24-year-old was touted as the best one-on-one defender in the Premier League and was been compared to several fullbacks including Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
However, this season, like many other Manchester United players, the former Crystal Palace defender has struggled with consistency, which played a role in losing his starting position to Diogo Dalot under Ralf Rangnick.
Several reports have linked Wan-Bissaka with a loan move back to Crystal Palace, and the defender is reportedly waiting on Erik ten Hag in order to find out if the Dutchman needs his services.
The same report claims that Roma and Palace are not the only clubs keen on Wan-Bissaka’s services. Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing a new right-back in the summer following the sale of Kieran Trippier to Newcastle in January.
