Jadon Sancho speaks out on Erik ten Hag arrival, sends vows to Manchester United fans

Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho says he’s keen on knowing the changes Erik ten Hag would bring at Old Trafford ahead of next season and makes vows to the fans that the players have the belief of challenging for top honours.

Man United announced in April that Ten Hag would become their next permanent manager, who will replace interim boss Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.

The Dutchman has been touted by many to bring successes back to The Theatre of Dreams, thanks to the legacy he left at Ajax, winning the Eredivisie title on Wednesday following a 5-0 thumping victory over Heerenveen.

There are speculation that the 52-year-old tactician would attend Manchester United’s last game of the season against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on May 22nd.

And Sancho says he’s looking forward to seeing what Erik ten Hag would bring at Old Trafford while admitting this season has been a difficult one at Manchester United.

“To start again fresh, with a new manager [Erik ten Hag] coming in, we’re looking forward to seeing what his ideas and plans for the team are,” the former Dortmund winger told Premier League Production.

“You only have to think positively. My career is only getting started and, hopefully, it will take off soon. This has been a difficult season, especially being a Manchester United player, with what the club has achieved over the years.

“Man United is known for winning trophies and being up there with the best. This season has been a difficult one for all of us, but I think we still have to show belief again.”

Jadon Sancho struggled in his first season and that was due to illness, lack of fitness, and injury issues. The England international, who would miss United’s next game against Palace, has three goals and three assists in 29 Premier League appearances.
