International watch: How Harry Maguire, Antony and other Manchester United stars performed tonight

Several Manchester United players including Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Antony represented their countries tonight.

But how did the Man United players performed for their respective countries?

Italy 1-0 England

Harry Maguire started at the back for England while Luke Shaw started on the bench. The Man United skipper played 90 minutes as the Three Lions succumbed to a tight 1-0 defeat against Italy.

Shaw came on midway through the second half but couldn’t help his country fight back into the game. Dean Henderson, who’s on loan at Nottingham Forest, was an unused substitute.

Brazil 3-0 Ghana

Manchester United stars Alex Telles, Casemiro, Fred and Antony were in the squad that thrashed Ghana 3-0 in an international friendly game.

Casemiro and Telles started the game while Antony and Fred started on the bench. The former came on in the 63rd minute but didn’t make much impact while the latter was left on the bench.

Alex Telles, on loan at Sevilla, played 90 minutes at left-back while Casemiro played 62 minutes.

Iran 1-0 Uruguay

Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri started the game but played only 45 minutes against Iran. The 20-year-old hasn’t made any competitive appearance this season due to an injury he endured during pre-season.

No injury issues have been reported at the moment of writing, which would come down as good news to many Manchester United fans and to Erik ten Hag, who would rather have a complete squad when club action returns next week.

Several Manchester United stars will be in action on Saturday.
