The footage that has gone viral across social media shows Harry Maguire training alone, with one of Ten Hag’s backroom staff keeping eyes on the England international.

It’s unclear whether the injury would keep the 28-year-old out of tomorrow’s game or not, but the defender is a doubt for tomorrow’s game.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Harry Maguire will remain as Man United captain, something that obviously raised many eyebrows, given the number of fans who wanted him to be stripped of the United captaincy.

Harry Maguire is the captain,” Ten Hag confirmed. “I have to get to know all the players, but he’s an established captain and he’s achieved a lot of success.”

Speaking about the Liverpool games, the Dutchman said: “Yes, playing against Liverpool is always exciting. Manchester United vs Liverpool is a big game and it’s a really good test for us.”

“The standard of Man United is to win every game — we are happy to play this game here in Bangkok for the many fans.”
