"I'm really looking forward to it" - Erik ten Hag reacts to 'tough' Arsenal clash

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has claimed that he is relishing the prospect of facing Arsenal, who he described as a ‘tough’ opponent, this weekend.

Man United will look to continue from where they left off when they host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday in the Premier League.

United are on a three-match winning streak, having won against the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester City and would fancy to make it four wins against the Gunners.

Arsenal have won their first five league matches, making them the only team in the Premier League with 100% win record so far this season.

Ten Hag views the clash as a tough game but concedes that he’s rather looking forward to welcoming Mikel Arteta’s men at the Theatre of Dreams.

“I have seen Arsenal, a tough opponent,” Erik ten Hag told MUTV. “They’ve started really well this season and you can see this is a team who are longer together, who have a coach bringing his philosophy to the team, so for us it’s a good test.

“I’m really looking forward to it [the game against Arsenal] and we will pick the right XI to start. But as you see, it’s not only a team, we have a squad.”
