Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea said he’s tired after playing a huge role in the West Ham United defeat at Old Trafford.
Man United maintained their momentum against West Ham and managed a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Hammers to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches across all competitions.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the first half but the Red Devils relied on David de Gea and their defensive resilience to silence relentless West Ham.
De Gea, who was arguably the best performer in the game, thanks to his late big saves, has reacted to the tight win over David Moyes’ side.
“I feel a bit tired,” De Gea told BBC. “People think goalies don’t get tired but we were suffering at the end.
“We controlled the game good but it was tough at the end.”
