Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag doesn’t want to lose Marcus Rashford because he’s an important player, amid interest from PSG.
Reports broke out this week that PSG are interested in signing Rashford from Man United this summer, and the talks were said to be ‘advancing positively’, according to L’Equipe.
Different outlets claimed that Marcus Rashford, who has a year left on his current deal, wants the move to Parc Des Princes, as that stands as a totally different challenge for the 24-year-old, who can play in any position across the front line.
Although some fans were interested in seeing Rashford leave the club due to his poor performances, Erik ten Hag believes the England international is ‘definitely’ part of his project at Old Trafford.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Brentford, Ten Hag told MUTV: “He’s [Marcus Rashford] really important, you have seen from the first day I’m here, I’m really happy with him, I don’t want to lose him, he’s definitely in our plans at Manchester United.”
Rashford has a chance to end his goal drought this weekend when Manchester United play visitors to Brentford in the Premier League.
