Huge blow! Two key Manchester United players set to miss Arsenal clash

Manchester United are poised to face Arsenal without the likes of Diogo Dalot and Anthony Martial after the pair weren’t spotted alongside their team-mates that travelled to London on Saturday.

Man United, who are hoping to bounce back to winning ways on Sunday against Arsenal, are now expected to do the job without Martial and Dalot.

Anthony Martial missed United’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night due to a knock while Dalot has been out injured since his coming off with a muscle injury against Charlton in the Carabao Cup.

Both first team players weren’t seen among Erik Ten Hag’s available players that travelled to London on Saturday for the Arsenal clash, according to MEN and they are now set to miss the game.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has done brilliantly well at right-back and he’s expected to maintain his starting role against the Gunners.

Wout Weghorst started in place of Anthony Martial against Crystal Palace and did well, although he failed to mark his Manchester United debut with a goal or assist.

It’s not obvious that he will start against Arsenal on Sunday evening but it’s clear that he’ll feature in the game, as Ten Hag would love to have a proper centre-forward in his team.

Manchester United will also be without Casemiro against Arsenal due to suspension, after the Brazilian took his fifth league yellow card against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
