Everton boss Frank Lampard has suggested that Marcus Rashford was the difference as Manchester United beat Everton at Old Trafford.
Man United booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup following a commanding 3-1 win over Everton at the Theatre of Dreams.
Marcus Rashford was involved in United’s both goals and eventually got on the scoreboard in injury time after he scored from a penalty spot.
The England international has now scored five goals and provided three assists in his last five matches across all competitions.
Lampard believes it was Rashford’s individual brilliance that destroyed whatever chance Everton had to fight their way back into the game in Manchester.
Manchester United will return to action next week when they host Charlton Athletic at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.
Three days after, the will welcome Manchester City in the Premier League.
