"He's a sore loser, he never does it" — Roy Keane slams Mikel Arteta after Manchester United defeat

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has slammed Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta after he failed to give Erik ten Hag credit.

Man United trounced Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday evening to move 5th in the Premier League.

It was Erik ten Hag’s fourth league win in a row, having won against the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester City

Antony scored the opener, Bukayo Saka scored the equaliser in the second half but a brace from Marcus Rashford rounded up things for the Red Devils.

After the game, Mikel Arteta was interviewed but the former Pep Guardiola’s assistance would rather give excuses on why the Gunners lost the game and at the same time, resisted to give his counterpart some credit.

And that annoyed Roy Keane, who described the Arsenal boss as a ‘sore loser’.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: “Mikel Arteta got interviewed after the game. I think he’s a sore loser.

“He would have given a little bit of credit to Manchester United. He never does.

“Anytime he loses a game, I’ll listen to him. He’s always talks about what he didn’t do properly and about the officials.”

The 3-1 loss to Manchester United becomes Arsenal’s first defeat of the season.

The Gunners remain at the top of the Premier League table after Aston Villa held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening.
