Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was pleased with the performance of Marcus Rashford against Arsenal.
Man United maintained their momentum against the Gunners when they recorded their fourth win in a row with a 3-1 win over Arsenal.
New signing Antony opened the scoring with a beautiful finish, with Marcus Rashford providing the assist.
Early in the second half, Bukayo Saka scored the equaliser but that didn’t last long before Marcus Rashford restored Manchester United’s lead with a top finish, with Bruno Fernandes providing a sublime assist.
While the visitors’ were attempting to fight their way back into the game, Rashford scored his second and United’s third goal from a close range. Christian Eriksen was unselfish inside Arsenal’s penalty box.
Erik ten Hag was pleased with the England international’s performance against Mikel Arteta’s men, insisting that his pressing was notable.
“He [Marcus Rashford] was brilliant. It was a great performance from him,” Ten Hag told MUTV.
“As a striker, his pressing, but when we played over him he made the right decisions. I’m really happy because he’s invested a lot.”
