Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford was a constant threat as United beat Burnley on Wednesday night.
Man United scored unreplied two goals against Burnley and for this reason, they have booked their place in the quarter final of the Carabao Cup.
Christian Eriksen scored the opener in the first half before Marcus Rashford kept the lead safe with a superb solo performance.
Despite playing on the right wing, a role he’s obviously struggled to play at his best, the 25-year-old was a constant threat against the Clarets and his performance handed him the man of the match award.
Erik ten raves about Rashford after the Burnley victory saying: “I think he [Marcus Rashford] was a constant threat, playing on the back line on the back four, he’s so dangerous with his pace, dribbles, an out ball.
“I think he [Rashford] is on a very good level, his performances are improving a lot from game to game.
“He’s a continued threat but also many other games this season he’s scored a lot of goals and does a lot of defending work.”
On when the rest of the World Cup players will be back, Ten Hag said: “We have not planned for that, and I think the Argentina celebrations are still going, so we will see.”
