Erik ten Hag will deal with Cristiano Ronaldo after he left the pitch during Tottenham clash

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said he will deal with Cristiano Ronaldo after he left the pitch during the Tottenham clash.

Man United beat Spurs 2-0 at Old Trafford and are now one point behind fourth-placed Chelsea with 20 points from 10 matches in the Premier League.

Fred opened the scoring early in the second half and late in the game, Bruno Fernandes scored the second goal and would be voted as the man of the match by Amazon Prime.

Erik ten Hag said during an interview before the kickoff that Cristiano Ronaldo will take part in the game against Spurs.

But the Dutchman left him on the bench as he brought on the likes of Anthony Elanga and Christian Eriksen late in the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo headed down the tunnel in frustration whilst the game was still on and Ten Hag has confirmed that he will address the issue tomorrow.

“I will deal with that tomorrow not today,” Ten Hag told Prime Video when asked about Ronaldo leaving before the final whistle. “Today we are celebrating this win.

“Today we celebrate this result. Of course we think about Saturday and another big game (v Chelsea). We have to prepare really well and the rest we deal with tomorrow.”
