Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has refused to comment on recent reports claiming ‘Casemiro to Old Trafford’ is deal done.
A report emerged on Friday claiming that Casemiro’s move to Man United is now ‘deal done’ a few hours after Carlo Ancelotti had claimed that nothing has been official yet between Manchester United and Real Madrid for the midfielder.
Several legit sources have reported that the Brazilian’s move to Old Trafford is imminent and the 30-year-old will sign a four-year deal for a transfer fee that could rise to €70million.
Carlo Ancelotti has earlier confirmed Man United’s interest in the defensive midfielder and his desire to take up a new challenge.
The experienced manager also confirmed that the Brazil international won’t be part of his squad for this weekend’s La Liga game.
Speaking about the Portuguese star’s future, he said: “He is in our plans. That is what I can say.”
