Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot is attracting interest from Real Madrid, according to reports.
Dalot has started in all of Man United’s games this season, thanks to his decent performances and the absence of Aaron Wan-Bissaka due to injury issues.
The Portuguese star played 90 minutes against Chelsea and impressed as Manchester United staged a late equaliser following Casemiro’s header.
Dalot has been argued as one of the rising fullbacks in Europe this season at least and is attracting interest from top clubs.
According to Sunday Mirror, Real Madrid have identified the 23-year-old as a transfer target.
The Red Devils are likely to turn down any interest from Real or any club if they come knocking for Diogo Dalot’s services in January as they wouldn’t risk returning back to having Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their first-choice right-back or in a pursuit to sign his replacement in before the winter window closes.
According to the report, Real Madrid are more likely to make their interest known in the summer and Man United would be opened to doing business with the La Liga side as they are also keen on signing a new fullback.
Dalot’s current deal will run out at the end of the season but United are likely to discuss a contract renewal with his camp.
