Manchester United will play visitors to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night in the Premier League and below are our predicted starting lineups and predictions for the game.
Man United have won all of their seven matches since club action returned in late December and are looking to extend their winning run against Palace.
A win for the Red Devils will take them into the 2nd position with 41 points after 19 matches and will set them in a proper place to slash the deficits behind league leaders Arsenal to three points with a win.
However, the most important game for any team is the next game and that’s what Erik ten Hag has probably told his squad, hence why many believe Casemiro, who is at risk of missing the Arsenal trip with a suspension, is likely to start against Palace.
Erik ten Hag has told the media several times that his goal is to finish in the top four and tonight is a chance to advance closer to that goal, hence expecting him to risk starting Casemiro against the Eagles.
Because the Dutchman’s goal is to finish in the top four, he would likely prefer to start him against Palace and risk missing him against Arsenal than resting him for the Arsenal game and risk losing to Crystal Palace.
Although Jadon Sancho returned to the mix this week after months away from the team, the England international is unlikely to be in the starting lineup against Crystal Palace but there’s a chance he could be named as a substitute.
