Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was pleased with Alejandro Garnacho after the youngster’s top performance against Fulham on Sunday evening.
Man United left it until in the dying minutes to snatch all three points and the match-winning goal was scored by Garnacho, who replaced Anthony Martial late in the second half.
The Argentine has been a revelation for Manchester United in recent games. Garnacho came off the bench and provided two assists to help Man United stage a comfortable 4-2 win over Aston Villa on Thursday in the Carabao Cup third round.
Speaking after the win, the Portuguese star told Sky Sports: “He [Alejandro Garnacho] has a lot of talent and his work rate with the talent makes a big difference.
“It’s not the first time he makes a big impact for us. We are really happy for him and know he can give us goals, assists and prove the joy of football.
“I think everyone is seeing signs that [Garnacho can go all the way]. Not because of his goals and assists but the way he comes into the game. Nobody likes to be on the bench so the attitude he has when he comes off has been fantastic.”
