Manchester United transfer target Frenkie de Jong gets verbally abused by Barcelona fans upon arriving at their training ground.
The midfielder has been linked with moves away from Barca this summer, with Man United and Chelsea said to be the top two interested teams for his signature.
Barcelona are keen on offloading the midfielder this summer in a bid to register some of their new signings.
United and Barca have since agreed on his transfer fee but the Dutchman is refusing to move on, with many outlets claiming the midfielder’s refusal to switch clubs is down to the La Liga club owning him part of his salaries worth about £17m.
Some Barcelona fans are fed up with the former Ajax midfielder’s refusal to quit the club, as his wages could play a role in stopping Barca to register some of their new signings, and made their concerns heard when they verbally abused the 26-year-old whilst he made his way to training on Wednesday.

Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan thinks Frenkie de Jong would eventually join Manchester United despite reports claiming the former Ajax midfielder is more likely to join Chelsea because they would partake in this season’s Champions League.
“I understand, here at the Dutch end, that Frenkie de Jong is still an absolute priority for Erik ten Hag and the club. They are certainly not giving up,” said Van der Kraan.
“No matter what Frenkie [de Jong] says at Barcelona, they [Manchester United] have a deal with the agent of the player. It just depends on what is happening at the political department of Barcelona over his wages which they still owe him.”
